Tess, Illuminated, Looking Good

1. A day of celebration for sweet Tess. Today she turns 13!
2. We turn off every light so that the candles on the cake glow brightly. Only Tess is illuminated in the room.
3. My skills at making a cake look pretty are quite a gamble. I love to bake, my baking always tastes good, but a pretty birthday cake is not my forté. So when today's cake turns out looking good, I feel like I've beat the odds.
