1. My hairdresser listens and tries to help me with this hopeless hair of mine. It really helps to have someone sympathetic to my endlessly bad hair days.
2. Tess meets up with friends at the skating rink. I stay and watch for a while, remembering when we first taught our girls, one by one, to skate.
3. I return home after being gone all day and the sweet scent of baking greets me at the door. The daughter who rarely bakes has been busy and she smiles at my smile.
I'm trying to talk Kelly into making oatmeal cookies. Baking daughters are the best.
