Adorable, The lands of snow and wind, I'm out of here

1. Claire sends me a video of the baby. She is happy and smiling. My heart leaps toward the computer screen wanting to scoop her up with hugs.
2. My house is being buffeted by freezing, howling wind and 600 miles away Mom's house is in a blizzard . Yet we manage to have a nice chat on the phone, each of us in a warm, cozy spot.
3. Since he wants to use the kitchen, he hurriedly cleans up after dinner. All I have to do is walk away.

Is your mom in New Jersey? My family were also getting bombarded up there.
