1. After one day of sun, the rains have returned. The greens that are left in nature are deepening to a lushness we haven't seen all summer.
2. A pot of Pasta Fagioli simmers for dinner, perfect for a cool, damp day.
3. She tells me about being called on in class and being rewarded with a lollipop for having a perfect answer. We're never too old for lollipops. (Or rewards in general.)
