Cool front, Old stones, Out for the day

1. The day dawns with brisk, clear, motivating air.
2. The decades have faded the inscription. I trace the grooves with my fingers to make out the name, letter by letter. So many stories are buried here...
3. We end up on errands most of the day, so we treat ourselves to lunch out.
