1. Our family spent this perfect autumn day on a hike to the Devil's Marble Yard. An impressive mountainside full of huge boulders. The hike/climb was rewarded at the top with a pretty view.2. The sandwiches we carried tasted like a feast. We even backpacked a jar of Claire's pickles all the way up.
3. Back home in the evening, we had our usual rounds of Badminton. We ate Marie's delicious recipe of Apple Hazelnut Brown Betty and felt satisfied about our day well spent.
