Autumn Scent, Brussels Sprouts, Home

1. It smelled so good on my walk this morning. The damp leaves and fall air made that spicy, pungent odor that I wish I could bottle.
2. I like preparing brussels sprouts. Trimming off the tiny outer leaves, slicing them in half, then sautéing them to nutty goodness in olive oil and a bit of garlic, salt and pepper.
3. It's all about the food today... the aroma of pork roast, topped with a rub of rosemary, Dijon, garlic and olive oil, surrounded by carrots, potatoes and onions. The house smelled heavenly.
