Rubies, Black Widows, Soft Ground

1. Ripe cherries on the tree are shiny, ruby jewels. A bowl full is a treasure to behold.
2. The clerk in the garden shop was helpful and knowledgeable...with a genuine smile. I told him we have a problem with black widows and he quickly directed me to the right stuff and gave me instructions on how to use it. It made all the difference in my drudgery of errands.
3. The evening was spent in the garden, after a rain.

  1. I have cherry trees too. It's wild, isn't it? I usually ride the horses underneath them and pick a few to munch on.

You ever get those blue/black wasps? They eat the black widows.

Lots of bugs around here, huh?

  2. Oh, I should add, since you have horses. You may already know but just in case. If a horse eats too many cherries he could colic. But he'd have to eat bucketsful. Is that right? Or is it bucketfuls?
