Bolting across my path, Sunshiny, Chelsea

1. A hawk spears through the air, yards in front of my windshield. Its wings are tucked tightly against its body as in a dive, head and beak focused straight ahead. Its form is strong and beautiful. My first impression? Now I see why they shaped hood ornaments like this.
2. Easter candy with all its pastel wrappers and cheeriness of spring.
3. Our second daughter celebrates her 24th birthday today!! I remember her lightning speed arrival into the world, naming her Chelsea because she was born in a harbor town within view of the sea, and how having a second baby strengthened the word family for us. Twenty-four years worth of memories and stories. We are blessed.
