1. Steve and I discuss Henri's unusual behavior. Yesterday Henri quickly greeted and then cuddled with our pastor, whom he hardly knows. Steve reasoned that David's dog, Jack and our Henri go to the same groomer. Henri must have smelled Jack's familiar scent on David and therefore accepted him right away. Amazing.
2. Tess calls from the raspberry patch, "Hey there are new raspberries coming up!"
3. I spent the afternoon cleaning up the perennial beds on the hill. The sun was warm and the work was rewarding.
