1. I'm awake, but still have my eyes closed. I see a flash of light behind my eyelids and wonder...? Then I hear the rolling of thunder. Yup! That's not a winter sound and I like it.
2. The day of rain that was forecast never came to be. We had beautiful, breezy sunshine and blue skies with fluffy white clouds. Because I wasn't expecting this beauty, made it even more beautiful.
3. I have a ravenously hungry teenager, ready to consume any food within sight. I do my motherly duty and press healthy choices while hurriedly preparing dinner. She assures me she'll eat all this and dinner too... And she does.
