1. We had a beautiful snowstorm! It was as if someone flipped a switch and three and a half days of rain suddenly turned to snow falling from the sky. It seemed to put everyone in a celebratory mood.
2. During dinner, the power promptly went out. I lit every candle I could scrounge and placed them everywhere. Steve started up the generator, which feels like cheating, but we stayed warm.
*Checking in the archives, I see that I last made these on 2/7/2010...also after a snowstorm!
Yes, we enjoyed the snow here in Daleville, too! What a nice way to end the string of gray, rainy days that we have had. And then, the next day, sunshine! :)
