Inspired by Clare Grant's blog titled "Three Beautiful Things", every day I want to record three things that have given me pleasure.

Cedar log, At the rink, Pass the napkins
1. It tells a story and I wish I knew how to read it. Touching the rings, I imagine storms and winds, sunshine and snow.
The first slice on new ice.
2. It's a funny thing about kids on a merry-go-round or skating 'round an ice rink- every time you wave to them, they wave back : )
3. I think they're dipped in fake butter. That's why the pretzels from Auntie Anne's taste so good.

I always think about trees and the many things they might have witnessed. Those rings tell the tale.
